About Us
Melissa Muth Martinez
Co-founder
Melissa helps clients gain clarity on who they are, what they want, and why. Her multifaceted background in writing, coaching, and education gives her a unique lens through which she holistically supports her clients.
She has robust experience in college admissions consulting, college access, international education, and student development, having worked across universities, consulting agencies, nonprofits, and foundations.
She has supported professionals from more than 50 countries in navigating ambitious goals and pathways, taught college-level courses, directed a prestigious college access program, and helped clients gain admission to numerous highly reputable schools and programs.
Melissa received her master’s of education in educational leadership and her bachelor’s of arts in communications and Latin American studies alongside a Spanish minor, all from DePaul University.
Melissa lives in the Chicago area with her husband and two little girls. She loves experiencing new people and places, cooking a nice meal, and visiting any bakery she can find.
Alejandro Martínez Montes
Co-founder
Ale's international background and work in the field of language education have given him the skills needed to help clients overcome communication barriers and achieve their goals.
He has worked as an English professor at universities such as the Pontifical University of Chile, where he provided academic writing support to undergraduate and doctoral students.
He has also aided hundreds of candidates in achieving the scores on tests such as the TOEFL and IELTS needed to successfully apply to university programs around the world.
Ale holds a Cambridge DELTA (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and is a certified Cambridge Speaking Examiner. He is a fluent speaker of English, Spanish, and French.
He lives in Buenos Aires with his wife. He enjoys reading, playing music, and exploring the most beautiful city in the world.
